Gas Pump Vulture is based off of a sketch I did when I was much younger. I call it Gas Pump Vulture because I think it was painted on the window/wall of a gas pump station in an old p@rno or late night titty B movie. The style was so impressive that it stuck with me for years, I can remember the image, but can't remember the boobies in the movie. That should tell you something about how much I loved those old hot rod and Rat Fink styled characters.
Gas Pump Vulture obviously isn't a replica of the original, as I can't remember the name of the movie but my version definitely honors the original.
So anytime you see 'Gas Pump' in the title or description, just know that although certain elements have been changed...I've tried to keep the style the same. Almost always keeping the same shoes, knobby knees, etc.
Also, Gas Pump designs can be customized. Contact me if you'd like your city/school name to accompany any of the designs you find. Most are currently birds, but I do have a handful of other animals and will be adding more in the near future.
